Yet, the experience of growing up between cultures can also bring challenges, including a sense of rootlessness, identity struggles, and unresolved grief.

As a therapist with both personal and professional insight into this experience, I specialize in helping adults navigate the complexities of a highly mobile upbringing. Whether you’re grappling with belonging, life transitions, or the emotional impact of cultural displacement, I offer a supportive space to explore these experiences. • "Working with Ingmar was nothing short of life changing. When I first sought out a therapist to help integrate my ketamine work, I was at the beginning of a journey in a very different modality. Not only was I scared and navigating new waters, I was deeply depressed. My personal exploration with alternative medicines found ground and assurance while working with Ingmar. It was a very trying time : Spelunking my mind through dusty corners where my ancestors wandered. But by allowing myself to be open and ask questions like, “why the depression” I shifted out of a ‘something is wrong with me’ framework. It never occurred to me that there would be an end to therapy. That the work could come to a close after great effort. Not only did Ingmar present me with this reality but I evolved into a healed version of myself with a greater understanding of intergenerational trauma and of myself."

  • "I have worked with multiple therapists throughout my life, and Ingmar truly stands out in a special way. Yes he is very well-trained, wise, and insightful, but he also possesses qualities that, in my experience, are unparalleled. These include innate and palpable empathy, a warmth that made me feel safe and supported, and a remarkable ability to listen and truly hear me, even when I couldn’t hear myself. He instinctively created a nurturing space where I felt recognized and understood, and in this space he was able to guide me onto a path of deep healing for the first time in my therapeutic journey. With all of his qualities combined, what he creates is a solid framework for the process of transformation. I cannot recommend him highly enough!"
